Wow. Really the nicest B&B I've ever stayed in. Beautiful decor. Super comfy bed with soft cosy linen. The vegetarian food was top notch with lots of options. (Vegan menu too). Super friendly people and great service. Will definitely stay again. Loved it.

2nd visit to this B&B and Andrew greeted us with a warm welcome a pot of coffee & scones. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have a kettle, coffee, tea, water available in the room. Toiletries are also available plus a hairdryer. The breakfast choice is varied and all excellently cooked by Andrew. A bonus is that you can also have an evening meal, upon request, along with a choice of cocktails and wine. The Lion is a little gem and we will definitely be visiting again.

Following a lovely welcome and informative run down on services and the town in general we had a very nice overnight stay. A delicious breakfast the next morning in the tasteful surroundings of this new B&B. We would definitely return here.

The room was stunning, with the comfiest bed and the attention to detail is second to none. The en-suite was huge and the bath was incredible to soak in. Not only were the hosts friendly and welcoming, they gave great tips on what to do in the area which really made our stay even better. The breakfast was very tasty and the selection of continental and hot food was brilliant. Cannot wait to go back again!!

First class bnb at very reasonable price. Great reception from friendly host. The place is spotless and the rooms very nice. Great breakfast with excellent choice. Car park tricky to access depending on your approach, but this is a typical Devon village on the coast, so roads are narrow. First rate stay.
